Be Part of The Sales Team

San Francisco Sales Specialist (Client Outreach & Compliance Sales): Rate + 3% Commission – 1099 Independent Contractor

Redefining Compliance for a Smarter, Safer Future.

BayArea Compliance (BAC) supports healthcare, dental, laboratory, and regulated businesses with OSHA, HIPAA, and regulated waste compliance that’s built for real-world operations, not paperwork theater.

Role summary

This is a San Francisco-based, in-market outreach role. You’ll be the face and voice in the city, doing smart prospecting, light field outreach, and tight follow-through, so qualified decision-makers get to our sales pipeline cleanly and fast.

What You’ll do

You’ll introduce BAC services to clinics and regulated sites in San Francisco, identify the right decision-maker, qualify basic needs, and set the next meeting step. You’ll also do selective in-person drop-ins when it helps move the deal forward, then log everything cleanly so sales can execute without rework.

- Hourly pay: $19.50/hr
- Commission: 3% of sales you source/close into the pipeline

- Mileage Expense Reimbursement: For approved outreach activity that requires travel, BAC may reimburse reasonable and pre-approved business mileage incurred during authorized client outreach or sales-related calls. Mileage reimbursement, if applicable, is provided in accordance with BAC guidelines and does not alter the independent contractor relationship. Contractors remain responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and ordinary business expenses.

What Success looks like

Consistent outreach activity, clean lead records, booked meetings that show up, and opportunities that don’t die on follow-up.

Requirements

You’re San Francisco-local (or commute-ready), comfortable on the phone, confident talking to clinic managers and owners, and you can stay organized without being babysat.

Having your own reliable vehicle is helpful for field outreach, since mileage is part of the workflow discussion for Specialists.

Background Check and San Francisco Fair-Chance Compliance

BAC runs background checks only after a conditional offer, and we do not ask about conviction history on the application or early in the process, consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.  Disclosure or a record does not automatically disqualify,  decisions are reviewed case-by-case for job-relatedness.

How to Apply

Email marketing@bayareacompliance.com with your CV/resume, other relevant certifications, and a short note: where you’re based in SF, whether you have a car for field outreach, and your availability to start.

- Download and complete the Remote Worker Application Form (PDF).
- Submit the completed form to marketing@bayareacompliance.com.

- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Qualified applicants will be contacted for the next steps, which may include an introductory call or service orientation.

About BayArea Compliance (BAC)

BayArea Compliance supports healthcare facilities, dental practices, and regulated businesses with OSHA, HIPAA, and DEA compliance programs designed to reduce risk, protect people, and control costs. Our approach makes compliance practical, affordable, and sustainable, helping clients save significantly compared to large national providers without sacrificing accuracy or defensibility.

About the Role

BayArea Compliance engages Remote Client Outreach Callers as independent contractors based in Oklahoma. This role serves as an initial point of contact for clinics and offices, introducing BAC’s services, gathering key information, and connecting qualified prospects with our sales team. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, tools, expenses, and business operations and may provide services to other clients, provided no conflict of interest exists.

Fair-Chance & Disclosure Notice (Oklahoma)

In accordance with Oklahoma fair-chance principles and applicable law, contractors are required to disclose any prior criminal convictions for record-keeping, compliance, and client-site access purposes only. Disclosure does not automatically disqualify an individual from engagement. All disclosures are reviewed on a case-by-case basis based on relevance, time elapsed, and business necessity.
